Integration overview

Integrations connect the information and actions behind a business outcome. A useful connection needs more than access: it needs an agreed identity, data scope, and understanding of what the agent may do.
Connect the systems behind the work#
The relevant systems may hold documents, customer records, operational cases, finance records, or engineering information. Identify which sources establish the facts and which systems must reflect the completed work.
The Coryntas integrations overview includes examples such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce, Notion, Jira, HubSpot, and GitHub. Specific coverage depends on available interfaces, customer access, and the workflow agreed during design.
Agree on the integration boundary#
For each system, name the owner and record the information and operations required. Reading a contract, drafting a note, and updating an account are separate permissions and may need different reviews.
Confirm which records, fields, environments, and audiences are in scope. Identify the source of truth when multiple systems describe the same entity.
From connection to observed outcome#
Coryntas describes an integration path with five parts:
- Connect: establish the approved interface, identity, and data boundary.
- Model: map records, relationships, ownership, and workflow state.
- Authorize: define permitted reads, actions, thresholds, and approvals.
- Act: use tools with explicit inputs, outputs, errors, and side effects.
- Observe: record the resulting state, exceptions, and completed outcome.
A successful connection is the beginning of this process. It is not by itself evidence that the entire workflow is ready for production.
Confirm coverage for your deployment#
Ask the implementation team to confirm the operations and failure behavior needed by your workflow. Provider-specific setup, authentication, update frequency, and supported actions must be verified for the chosen integration.
Use Prepare access and permissions to gather the information system owners need. These guides do not prescribe unverified connector configuration steps.
